Terms & Conditions
Effective date: September 26, 2026
These Website Terms & Conditions (“Website Terms”) cover the use of the AERIA websites and the submission of residential HVAC service requests. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are and what this page covers
AERIA HVAC is operated by IFIX Appliance Repair LLC dba AERIA HVAC (“AERIA,” “we,” or “us”), a licensed California contractor, CSLB License No. 1143093, classification C-20 (Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning).
These Website Terms apply to the AERIA websites — aeriahvac.com and its subdomains, including book.aeriahvac.com, refrigeration.aeriahvac.com and commercial.aeriahvac.com — as websites, and to the submission of residential HVAC service requests through our linked request form at book.aeriahvac.com, including requests for the Homebuyer HVAC Assessment described in Section 6.
They do not establish the service terms for separate residential refrigeration, commercial refrigeration, or wine-cellar projects, which have their own service arrangements. They also do not replace a service authorization, home improvement contract, change order, or warranty document for particular work.
2. Website information
Our website provides information to help you understand our services and decide whether to contact us.
General explanations, photographs, examples, and decision-support information are not a diagnosis of your particular system and not a substitute for an assessment of the conditions at your property. Equipment recommendations, project requirements, and expected results depend on the circumstances of the individual project.
Nothing on this page withdraws an express commitment we have made to you or limits a right that applicable law protects.
3. Service requests and appointment confirmation
Submitting our service-request form asks AERIA to review your information and contact you about the next step.
A “Request received” message confirms receipt of the request. It does not, by itself, confirm an appointment, reserve a particular arrival time, authorize repair or installation work, or establish the final scope or price of a project.
AERIA will review your request and contact you during business hours. Appointment availability depends on the requested service, location, scheduling, and the information needed to arrange the visit. Response-time descriptions on our pages, such as a callback window during business hours, describe how we work; where a specific response commitment is stated for a specific paid service, we honor that commitment.
If an appointment is separately and expressly confirmed by AERIA or through our authorized scheduling process, that confirmation remains subject to the arrangements communicated for that appointment. These Website Terms do not cancel or override an appointment that has already been confirmed.
An appointment confirmation is not, by itself, authorization for repair, replacement, installation, or additional chargeable work.
Our online request form is not an emergency-response channel. For an immediate threat to health or safety, contact the appropriate emergency service.
4. Visit types, prices, and authorization
Different services have different charges and deliverables. A diagnostic visit, a replacement consultation, an independent assessment, a maintenance visit, and a Homebuyer HVAC Assessment are not interchangeable.
Refer to the description and price shown for the service you select at the time you request it. The price shown for a described visit covers that visit as described; we identify the applicable service and charge before you authorize a chargeable visit, and we do not add undisclosed mandatory fees to an advertised price. A free consultation offer applies to the consultation described in that offer; it does not mean that other assessments, diagnostic work, repairs, or installation are free.
Project-specific scope, pricing, payment arrangements, and changes are addressed through the applicable service authorization, proposal, contract, or change order. Where California law requires a written home improvement contract, work proceeds under that signed contract and the notices delivered with it.
These Website Terms do not themselves create a booking fee, cancellation fee, deposit requirement, or authorization to charge a payment method. They do not change a separately agreed charge or payment obligation.
5. Separate agreements, warranties, and consumer rights
Your applicable service authorization, home improvement contract, incorporated documents, signed change orders, and warranty documents govern the work they cover, subject to applicable law. Website content, marketing language, and these Website Terms do not expand, amend, or replace those signed documents, and do not expand any warranty.
AERIA provides a 2-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty on qualifying installation workmanship inside the written scope. Manufacturer warranties are separate and controlled by the manufacturer. Labor related to manufacturer part failures is not included unless a separate written option approved by AERIA expressly says so. A 5-Year Conditional Limited Workmanship Protection option may be available only when selected in writing and when documentation and maintenance requirements are met.
Nothing on this page waives or restricts a cancellation right, refund right, statutory protection, or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted. Where a right to cancel applies to your contract, the notice and cancellation forms delivered with your contract state that right, the deadline, and how to cancel; this website does not impose an additional approval requirement or restrict any cancellation method available under your agreement or applicable law.
6. Homebuyer HVAC Assessment
The Homebuyer HVAC Assessment is a paid, limited-scope evaluation of the specific heating and cooling systems identified for the assessment, performed for the named homebuyer in connection with a home purchase. It covers only those HVAC systems; it is not a general home inspection and does not replace a general home inspection or other specialist inspections of the property.
Each assessment is provided under a separate written agreement arranged before the visit, which states the systems covered, the methods used, the fee, the report delivery commitment, and any cancellation rights that apply. That agreement, not this page, governs the service. Property access must be authorized by the property owner or the owner’s authorized representative.
The assessment uses noninvasive methods. We do not make new openings, open sealed refrigerant circuits, adjust equipment, or perform repairs during an assessment, and items without safe, authorized access are reported as not assessed, with the reason stated.
The written report describes the assessed systems as observed on the assessment date, with the methods, measurements, and limitations stated in the report. It may recommend further evaluation and may include budget planning ranges. It is not an offer or bid by AERIA to perform work; not a guarantee of future operation, remaining service life, or the absence of hidden defects; not an opinion of the property’s value or of any purchase-price adjustment; and not advice to buy a property or to remove a contingency.
To keep the report independent, IFIX Appliance Repair LLC, including AERIA HVAC, will not offer or perform paid repair, replacement, or installation work at a property it has assessed for a buyer for at least twelve months after the assessment report, and we do not pay or receive referral compensation for this service. The assessment fee does not depend on what we find or on whether the purchase closes.
If we observe an urgent safety hazard during an assessment, we tell the client promptly and, when reasonably necessary to protect people or property, notify the owner or other responsible parties.
7. Information and photographs you provide
Please provide accurate contact information and describe the issue as clearly as you can. Only provide information or materials that you are authorized to share.
If you provide photographs or other materials through a channel we make available, we may use them to review and respond to your request and administer the related service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Providing photographs for a service request does not, by itself, authorize their use in public advertising and does not transfer ownership of your materials to AERIA. Public use of project photographs requires separate permission.
Please do not send payment-card details, passwords, or other sensitive information through a general service-request message.
8. Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains the collection and use of personal information associated with our website and service-request process.
We use the contact information you provide to respond to your request and communicate about the related service, subject to applicable law and your communication choices.
Submitting a service request or reading these Website Terms does not, by itself, enroll you in a marketing-text program or provide blanket permission for unrelated advertising communications.
Any optional advertising-measurement choice presented with the form is separate from your service request. Declining that optional measurement does not affect your request.
9. Website content and appropriate use
Website materials belong to AERIA or their respective rights holders and are protected to the extent provided by applicable law.
You may view, save, or print website information for your personal evaluation of our services. Do not present AERIA’s branding or work as your own, submit fraudulent requests, introduce malicious software, interfere with the website, or attempt to access restricted systems without authorization.
Nothing in these Website Terms restricts lawful reviews, criticism, fair use, or other uses permitted by law.
Links to third-party websites are provided for reference or convenience. Those websites have their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not change AERIA’s obligations under an agreement with you.
10. Website availability and updates
The website may occasionally be unavailable or contain information that needs correction. Please contact us if you encounter a problem or need clarification before relying on information for a service decision.
We may update this page to reflect changes in the website, our services, or the request process. The effective date above identifies the published version. Updates apply prospectively.
Posting an updated version does not, by itself, change a previously agreed scope, price, payment obligation, or warranty, and does not retroactively remove an accrued right. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we follow those requirements.
